India’s biggest running event, TATA Mumbai Marathon is set to return for its 20th edition on January 19, 2025. Registration for various categories have kicked off today. The event, which has become a staple in Mumbai’s sporting calendar, invites runners from around the world to participate. Here’s everything you need to know about signing up for this annual event:

Marathon (42 km): Registration opens on August 14 and will continue until November 30, or until all spots are filled.

Half Marathon (21 km): Entries for the half marathon will be accepted from August 23 to September 13. Slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Open 10K (10 km): A limited number of spots will be available through an online ballot. Registration dates for online ballot are August 12 to August 22.

Dream Run (5.9 km): Registrations for this fun run will be open from November 5 to November 25, or until all spots are filled.

Senior Citizen’s Run (4.2 km): Seniors can sign up from August 27 to October 25 for this special category.

Champions with Disability (1.3km): Special marathon has been organised for PwD participants, ensuring inclusivity for all runners. Registration opens on August 27 and will continue until October 25, or until all spots are filled.

Virtual Run: For those who prefer running remotely, registrations will be open from August 14 to January 8.
