Samar Tiwari, a 29-year-old rising talent from Lakhimpur, is making waves in Lucknow with his soulful voice. Currently pursuing his master’s in Indian classical music at Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalay, Samar has been passionately crafting his art since 2013 and took the professional leap in 2016.
Inspired by legends like Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam, and Vishal Mishra, Samar has created a unique space for himself by effortlessly blending classical, semi-classical, Bollywood, and folk music into his performances, earning him admiration from audiences across genres.
Music beyond limits—
Samar’s musical journey began in 2013, laying the foundation for a professional career he officially launched in 2016. In a candid conversation with Knocksene, Samar mentioned, “I don’t limit myself to a single genre”. He further added, “My passion lies in exploring the full breadth of musical styles, from the timeless allure of classical to the infectious energy of Bollywood.”
This versatility has won him a dedicated fanbase, drawn to his effortless transitions between diverse musical realms.

Samar’s most recent venture was his participation in Knocksense’s La Flea Affair – Diwali Edition, where he had the opportunity to connect with fellow musicians and perform for a diverse audience. “It was a great experience,” he shared, “and I’m eagerly looking forward to more such platforms that allow me to share my music with the world.”

As Samar continues to hone his skills and expand his artistic repertoire with his ‘The Original Note Band’, his ultimate dream remains simple yet profound, “I just want to create good music and be recognised for it.” With his unwavering passion and undeniable talent, there’s no doubt that this melodic maverick is well on his way to achieving his goals.
