Sprawling over 224.6 hectares of lush green fields, the sanctuary has beautiful birds like Peafowl, Sarus Crane, King Crow, Indian Roller and reptiles like Viper, Water Snakes, Cobra, Rattlesnakes and others.
While tourists enjoy birdwatching the most, the sanctuary also boasts of a 2.6 Km long cycle stretch around the lake in the centre. With a quiet walk or a joyful cycle ride, you can enjoy your day here in multiple ways! The sanctuary also houses a deer park which is a captivating allure for all carrying love for the wild. Additionally, the complex contains an interpretation centre for conducting detailed studies about the characteristics and behaviour of birds.
