The University of Lucknow is currently hosting the 30th annual Indian Society of Biological Chemists (ISBC) conference, jointly organised by the ISBC and the Department of Chemistry, LU. This three-day conference was kicked off on Monday. This milestone event celebrated three decades since the conference’s inception in Lucknow in 1995, with subsequent editions held in various cities across India.

Ancient Indian medicine remained a main highlight of the discussions
On the inaugural day of the conference, the integration of ancient Indian medicine, particularly Ayurveda, into modern healthcare systems emerged as a key focus of discussion.
