A collaboration between MG Motor India and Tata Power has now bestowed Lucknow with its first-ever 60kW superfast EV charging station. This facility is currently available for the vehicles which are compatible with CCS/CHAdeMO fast-charging standards and in 50 minutes, customers can power their MG ZS EV up to 80% at the charging station. Earlier last month, UP got its first EV charging station in Agra, set up by the same duo.
Charging station to make way for superior EV traction in the region
MG Motor India’s Chief Commercial Officer congratulated the state citizens for their second superfast EV charging station and he further mentioned that the underlying motive of this venture is to provide customers with a 5-way charging ecosystem. As per the officer, the deployment of the charging station will make way for “superior EV traction in the region, thereby catalyzing the adoption of cleaner and greener mobility solutions.”
Rajesh Naik, Chief-New Business Services, Tata Power, stated that the association with MG Motor India is a proud moment for the team and this endeavour is primarily set in motion to create a community for the potential EV customers. Naik further said that as the country is favouring the adoption of sustainable practices, the team will continue to provide consumers with the best of sustainable energy solutions.
Tata Power has also established a EV Charging structure with over 200 charging points in 24 different cities under the EZ Charge brand and along with it, they have also initiated a digital platform to facilitate a smooth customer experience.
