Lucknow administration deals with COVID situation with an iron fist
As per reports, District Administration is undertaking strict actions in view of the COVID spike in Lucknow. Consequently, the Fun Republic Mall, located at Vipin Khand in Gomti Nagar was issued a notice to implement the guidelines and norms with strictness, however to no avail. Hence, leading to its shut down.
The mall continued to be callous towards the enforcement of guidelines and therefore, has now been sealed for defying both preventive protocols and administrative orders. Similarly, My Bar Headquarters, a popular pub located in the Vibhuti Khand locality of the Gomti Nagar area, was also sealed by the city police for violating preventive protocols.
Meanwhile, Lucknow added as many as 364 fresh infections to its total tally in the last 24 hours. At present, there are about 3,138 -active cases here, the highest tally across Uttar Pradesh.
