So joining the bandwagon of Bollywood projects in Lucknow, director Abir Sengupta has arrived here with his next leading lady, Kiara Advani, to shoot for Indoo Ki Jawani.

Indoo Ki Jawani is gonna be a rom-com, directed by Abir Sengupta which follows a small-town girl’s dreams and determination to find true love via an online dating app! Sounds like someone we all know, right?!
The story will depict the life of Indoo Gupta, a girl from Ghaziabad, whose left and right swipes on dating apps will ensure an elaborate chaos! Kiara recently shot at a mall in the Gomti Nagar area of Lucknow, where the sequence demanded her to beat up goons.
According to India Today, Kiara earlier stated, “Indoo is edgy, lovable and quirky. The dialect is completely new so I’m going to do a lot of workshops to get it right. I can’t wait to start shooting.”

The romantic-comedy will also mark the Bollywood debut of Bengali writer-filmmaker Abir Sengupta and it’s being touted as a modern-age love story, we’ll all be able to relate to! Co-starring Aditya Seal of Student of the Year 2 fame, Indoo Ki Jawani will release on June 5, 2020. The film is being co-produced by Niranjan Iyengar and Ryan Stephen.
After the success of romantic drama Kabir Singh, co-starring Shahid Kapoor as a controversial character, Kiara Advani has made her way up to the list of highest-paid Bollywood actresses! She has remained a crowd favourite ever since.
Kiara has a number of films in the pipeline including Good Newwz, which co-stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Diljit Dosanjh and Laxmmi Bomb, where she will again be seen alongside Akshay and in Sher Shah, opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
