On Tuesday, the apex body of cricket in UP, the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) announced that it has re-opened a special window for online registration for those players who were not able to register earlier in the first phase. The players (men and women) can log on to the UPCA’s official website and get themselves registered for the year 2020-21, before the 23rd of October. This has given the aspiring players in the state a speck of hope and this second window is bound to see a major traffic.
Another shot at registration
Deepak Sharma, COO, UPCA, mentioned in an official statement, “It is hereby informed that UPCA has decided to re-open special window for online registration for those cricketers of our state (both men and women) who could not enroll themselves for registration in first phase in year 2020-21.” He also added, “Such cricketers are further advised to contact their respective honorary secretaries/presidents for further information in this regard.”
