Accelerating the vaccination program in Uttar Pradesh, the state government will start a new initiative urging citizens to take their immunity booster jabs. Under this inventive scheme, invitation letters will be sent out to residents across different cities in the territory, asking them to come for inoculation. These special invitation slips will hold complete information for the designated drives, including the allotted time and place for vaccination.
Nearly 10 lakh daily vaccinations targeted from July onwards
With an objective to execute widespread vaccination schedules, village heads, revenue officials, ASHA and Anganwadi workers, primary school teachers and panchayat officials will be roped in. They will aid in making sure that the new program is implemented comprehensively, without any lags. As per the given statements, the state administration is attempting to target nearly 10 lakh daily vaccinations from July onwards.
Given the multiple interventions being deployed in the state, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department, Amit Mohan Prasad said expressed confidence towards the achievement of stated goals. He informed that the groups of health officials will commute to deep pockets of the rural regions, assuring the realisation of the target. Further, more citizens will be encouraged to avail of the vaccination benefit with the circulation of the aforesaid invitation slips.
Mobile teams & static inoculation sites to propel vaccination
In order to scale up the count of beneficiaries, multiple facilities will be functional for inoculating individuals. While mobile teams will help in augmenting accessibility, immunisation drives shall be conducted across hospitals, Aarogya and health centres, along with other buildings.
