Commuters in Kanpur who use city e-buses for daily travel often face difficulty in finding the right change to pay for their tickets. Acknowledging the need for an effective solution, the Kanpur City Transport Service Limited (KCTSL) will roll out specialized prepaid travel cards to provide convenience to the public.
KCTSL will start the prepaid card service in a joint initiative with the State Bank of India. Moreover, the cards will also be functional for travelling through Kanpur Metro. Presently, the authorities are working on the finalization of the framework and the service will be rolled out for public by February end.
