Jaipur is launching a semi-highspeed train all the way to Indore in the second week of January. While it was supposed to be launched in the first week, the plan for the same was postponed and moved to 10th of January.
This upcoming train is a high-speed intercity train that will help save a lot of time, which means that things automatically become smoother and more functional. Thanks to the high speed operation, large distances will be covered quickly.

Route and schedule from Jaipur to Indore
At 5:30 am, the train will depart from Indore and arrive in Ujjain at 7:20 am. The train will thereafter arrive in Nagda around 8:30 am, 12:45 at Sawaimadhopur, and 2:40 in Durgapura, Jaipur
Route and schedule from Indore to Jaipur
The train will depart from Durgapura, Jaipur at 3:10 pm and arrive at Sawaimadhopur at 4:45 pm, then Nagda at 9:25 pm, Ujjain at 10:35 pm and Indore at 12:15 pm.

The train has very comfortable recliner seats. It also has better ventilation and an improved air conditioning facility. Not only this but the train has so many technological advancements that will aim to usher in a new era of evolution.
‘Vande Bharat’ will make one trip in a day just like the intercity train. This is an aluminum train and the maintenance of this train would be taken care of under Indore shed.
The plan to start operation of the train is well underway.
