In view of the dipping COVID tallies in Rajasthan, the state government has issued fresh guidelines, including a list of relaxations. Reportedly, the administration has given a green signal to various events in the territory and religious functions are also allowed now. However, not more than 200 people can attend these programs at a time. Besides, the night curfews shall remain effective in Rajasthan from 11 PM to 5 AM every day.
Only partially or fully vaccinated citizens can attend events

According to the government orders, religious functions and events like animal fairs, haat bazaar and others can be organised in the state, with prior knowledge to the district administration. Notably, only those who are at least partially vaccinated can attend any of these functions. Going by the guidelines, the time limit for such programs has been set from 6 AM to 10 PM.
As per reports, shops, malls and commercial establishments, among others can now remain open till 10 PM. Moreover, facilities such as petrol, diesel and CNG pumps, petroleum and gas-related outlets can decide their opening and closing time.
While all the previous SOPs remain intact, the new guidelines will come into effect immediately. Apart from these fresh guidelines, all the basic Covid-19 protocols like face masks, sanitisation, social distancing and proper ventilation in close spaces are still compulsory for all.

As per official data, Rajasthan’s cumulative tally has reached a total of 9,54,359 cases, with four fresh infections recorded on Sunday. While two of these cases were detected in Ajmer, Jaipur and Hanumangarh have also recorded one case each. The total number of fatalities in the state remains unchanged at 8,954, as no new death was marked on Sunday. Currently, the state has 37 active cases.
