The weather in Lucknow and its surrounding areas is expected to remain stable over the next two days. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), no significant changes are anticipated, with a mix of sunshine and cloud cover. Moreover, temperature is likely to stay within the normal range.
Thunderstorm & lightning alert for 36 districts
While Lucknow weather will remain stable, IMD has issued a weather alert for 36 districts across Eastern and Western Uttar Pradesh. Thunderstorms and lightning are expected in certain areas within the next 24 hours.
The affected districts include: Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Barabanki, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, and nearby areas.
In addition to thunderstorms, gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 km/h are also expected in the same districts. IMD has cautioned residents to stay indoors during intense weather activity.
