In a joint meeting of the District officials, Archeological Survey of India, UP Tourism officials, a decision was taken to reopen city’s monumental and tourist attractions as a part of the nationwide Unlock 4. The DM green-flagged the proposal to restart the tourist activity in the city from Thursday, September 24 only after approving the SOP submitted by the authorities.

Lucknow opens up the gates of its historical wonders to tourists and visitors starting Thursday, with the imposition of a strict operating procedure. The authorities have capped the daily visiting capacity of each tourist place at 2000 people, who will only be allowed to for a period of 2 hours within the premises. The timings of the Bada Imambara and other monuments have been fixed from 6 AM to 5 PM. All visitors without face-masks will be denied entry.
All visitors have to abide by the security and safety norms established under the precautionary protocol; all those without face masks would not be allowed to enter the premises.

As the city of Nawabs re-opens its majestic gates for the tourists, people can now visit Bada Imambara, Hussainabad Art Gallery, Chotta Imambara and other tourist magnets in the city! All Lucknowites and tourists have to ensure that they abide by the SOP so that the place remains safe for both, the tourist and the security officials alike.
