Lucknow University is among the few places that have come to become a landmark and define the cultural history of our city. The university campus is pretty as a picture and we’re sure you won’t find a bigger or better looking campus, this side of the world. The Lucknow University is also an old relic, the university only recently completed 100 years of its foundation and to celebrate the noteworthy occasion, LU is throwing a huge bash with a ton of activities happening in the campus.
The 100 year commemoration of Lucknow University will include a live concert by Amit Trivedi, a Masterchef competition, several sporting events and even a light and sound show among other fun and cool activities.

The university is ready to pull out all the stops when it comes to celebrations. According to students, the university will be calling on popular singer Amit Trivedi to throw a big concert for its students. The singer-songwriter will grace the residents of the city with his soulful voice and mesmerising music.
Though that is not all that LU has in store for you, according to college students, a talk with business tycoon Ratan Tata, a yoga session with the Yoga-guru turned entrepreneur Baba Ramdev, an international alumni meet, sporting competitions (half marathon, hockey and cricket match), Hindi/English/Sanskrit plays, as well as a light and sound show will also take place at the university.
Not just that, the university will also put up an exhibition on the history of all of its departments.
