Well, visit this street near KV in Aliganj and your life, like ours, will change for good. There is a lane of food trucks along the side road near KV Aliganj and it is the answer to all of your food prayers.

There are inhibitions in our minds when a food place isn’t boujee or much to look at, TBH. But often, the best street food or food in general, is found at small shacks, joints, stalls and kiosks dotting the streets.
At this lane, you can simply park your car and people from different food trucks will come to you with their menus, or you can pick a truck and head straight to it. The seating, as I mention is either non-existent or quite dodgy, but if you are a true foodie, nothing should come between you and food.

The last time we were here, we parked in-front of a truck called “Food Unplugged” and after having a look at the menu, we decided to order a plate of chicken malai tikka, chicken burra, chicken biriyani and a couple of ulta tawa paranthas. The tikkas were fresh, juicy and had a beautiful char on them, while the biryani was quite flavourful and robust, but the burra- the Chicken Burra was exceptional.
It was beautifully prepared, the spices, chillies, the aromatics complemented the subtle chicken in such a way. Don’t try it if you’re not a fan of spicy food.

If you’re impressed by ‘Food Unplugged’, you’ll fall in love with another Food Truck, called “Boti Roti”. They majorly focus on North Indian food and you will not find that lacking in anyway, the varieties of dishes they serve are unheard of even in tall ceiling-ed fancy restaurants.
You can also try UP 56 Taste of Poorvanchal’s egg curry, Chicken Kabab Khazaana’s chicken tikkas, Ande ka Funda’s delicious egg rolls and BBQ’s tender tandoori chicken.
From the basic chicken tangdi, mutton handi, gharwala chicken to dishes like gorakhpuri chicken, chicken peshawri, chicken mint tandoori, at this lane you’’ll find it all. Not only that, if you come here, you can dine like a king and still pay nothing over ₹500.
And if the place seems a little shady or unsafe, you can also order the same to your home, as these trucks are available on most online delivery platforms.
