Gajendra Verma of Tera Ghata fame is coming down to Lucknow to perform at The Flying Saucer Cafe on Friday at 9pm and it’ll be a shame to sit this one out.
Verma has belted out colossal Hindi hits like Mann Mera, Hai Koi, Baarish, Mujhe Ishq Se amidst other classics which’ve hit the right chords in our hearts, oft-times! Watching this mellifluous musician, intone his best works right in front of our eyes at one of the swankiest restro-bars in town will surely be a dear diary moment for us. His song Tera Ghata is all about betrayal in love and self-worth and it became an overnight sensation amidst heartbroken lovers. This prompted an intense push in his popularity and ever since then, there has been no looking back!
BTW, Did You Know-
Remember the song heartbreaking song, Tune Mere Jaana aka Emptiness, that was leaked on the internet with a story-line of a dying IIT student called Rohan Rathore? The song had instantly garnered 3M likes but later it was revealed that it was sung by none other than our Gajendra Verma! As soon as the song was leaked, Gajendra filed a complaint claiming copyrights of the song and won.
